Sayscroll Introduces a Teleprompter Built for People Who Were Never Trained to Be on Camera

ATHENS, Greece — September 10, 2026 — Sayscroll, an Athens-based software company, today introduced a teleprompter built around a simple idea: the script should follow the person, not the other way round.

How it works

Sayscroll uses real-time speech recognition to match each spoken word against the script. The text advances as the speaker talks, holds when they stop, and re-syncs when they repeat a line, skip a line, or go off script and come back. There is no speed to set. The system automatically recognizes the language being spoken, even when a script switches between languages.

Built for the one-person studio

Sayscroll combines the teleprompter, voice tracking and a camera recorder in one browser tab, with nothing to install and no operator, pedal or remote. Users turn on the camera, read, and record a take in the same window, and the recordings stay on the user's device and aren't uploaded.
