Spelling that mirrors speech tracks better than formal written Portuguese.
- Numbers as words: "dois mil e vinte e seis", "quinze por cento".
- Contractions as spoken: "pra", "tá", "cê" are fine in Brazilian scripts if that is how you talk — write the form you will actually say.
- Accents, ç, and ã are ignored for matching ("esta" and "está", "nao" and "não" behave the same); keep them for readability.
- Abbreviations as you say them: "por exemplo" not "p. ex."; "C-P-F" spelled letter by letter.
- Short lines, one idea each, so re-entry after an ad-lib is instant.
